THE STORY
A one minute branding video I created for a new History Channel program.
The Story follows a sequence of important events that shaped the 20th century and marked the beginning of the 21st. It looks at these events through ideas of cause and effect, chain reactions, and the impact of human decisions on history, as part of a larger connected system of actions and consequences.
Inspired by the Rubik’s Cube, the visual language uses grid, motion, and contrast to show instability, tension, and change. By combining archival footage, still images, documentary materials, and sound effects.
